Pravins, Parag, Sankarshan,

It has been long time since this KDE bug is open :
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=176537
What we can do about it? In KDE indic spellcheck is completely broken
and not usable

hmm its long back issue now, even we discussed same @ indlinux meet

And I had submitted a bug regarding Qt locale problem
[Issue N255131] Wrong character properties of vowel signs of Indian Langages
no link available. I got only this task Id(Qt bug tracking is funny)

can you give any link where i can put my comment on the issue

Fixing the above thing is related to fixing the locale and collation
data of QT and making it compatible with glibc fixes we did.(now gnome
sorts in one way, KDE sorts in one way, Openoffice sorts in another
way.)

AFAIK OpenOffice has something already defined in ICU, so its sorting in its own way, i think filing a bug against ICU can solve this problem.

QT locale d/b need to Check

I am running out of time to look into these things. Wondering whether
you can find some time to follow up.

no props, i am adding it in my todo list, but have some other high priority works in hand

adding in cc indlinux, fedora-i18n list, so if anyone interested problem can help us in resolving same

Best Regards,
