Hi Sunjae,
I would ignore the Warning Message for now. I used to see it quite often
as well but not in the recent releases.
Please try:
LANG=ko_KR.UTF-8 GTK_IM_MODULE=iiim gedit
If this still fails ("unable to communicate with server" message still
exist),
(in the gedit application)
+ right click mouse (a pop-up menu will appear)
+ select Input Methods (an extension to the pop-up menu will appear)
+ select Internet/Intranet Input Method (select it again even if it
is already selected)
Question: Are you using KDE?
Please get back to me if it still does not work for you. I'm trying to
figure what is the cause of this problem at the moment.
Cheers,
Lawrence

Could anyone help me out with Gtk-WARNING **: Locale
not supported by C library. Using the fallback 'C'
locale.? I have trouble communicating with the IIIM
server, and I believe this error message is the
problem. I don't know where to look for a place to
install a new locale.
