And kedit hangs thereafter forcing me to xkill it. When I open gedit after exporting GTK_IM_MODULE=iiim, at least httx doesn't output the above error message and I can type English alphabets, but still the "Can't communicate with IIIM server" error message ensues. I tested it after shutting down my Canna server to see if it makes any difference. It didn't. Hmm... Kohei
