There are many kicad libraries available on the web:
- kicad users yahoo group (subscription needed to access to the files)
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/kicad-users/files/
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/kicad-users/files/Library/

http://kicadlib.org/
I don't know how work this webmaster, but I sent him a well featured library (http://www.epcos.com/inf/20/20/db/fc_2009/MKT_B32520_529.pdf), all footprints with 3D, more than 3 weeks ago, and I don't get any answer from him. And I just see he updated his site 4 days ago ;-(

So, if I can find serious contributors, I plan to create (yet another) web site to collect libraries.

Regards,
Alain
