understood. word i used was 'reference' as i was looking just for any
mention. not packages them selves.

to further clarify my questioning, i was wondering if any of tools
can be called from cl and not have to go thru kde. this would cut
down on memory usage and all more memory for tools.

or put another way, will any tools run outside of kde?
