Hi all, I've been working on some demo's of rust + c in various use cases we need for DS. https://github.com/Firstyear/ds_rust_experiments/blob/master/simple_plugins/core/src/lib.rs Simple POC of how we could write the plugin system in rust. I'm thinking that it would be cool to get a small API in there somewhere that uses this: https://github.com/Firstyear/ds_rust_experiments/tree/master/weaklink So we could replace an existing simple C function with a rust one for testing and see how it goes :) Another option is to use a seperate .so as per this example: https://github.com/Firstyear/ds_rust_experiments/tree/master/exposed_header_and_symbols What do you think.
