Has anyone successfully run on an OS X jdk. Is it even possible, or does it require linux specific gtk libraries in java?It does not depend on specific gtk libraries. The GUI uses the Swing toolkit which, as far as the console code is concerned, is platform independent.
So it might just work with the OSX jre.
