Hi there! remember me? I finally got past this problem, so I thought I would share just in case anyone was fool enough to try and get this working on solaris 8. :) I had to do 2 things to get past compiling LDAPSDK: 1: I ended up compiling sasl dynamic 2: I had to modify c-sdk/ldap/clients/tools/Makefile. Added -lsasl2 to the end of SASL_LIBS e.g. SASL_LIBS = -L/root/ldap/cyrus-sasl-2.1.20/build-nostatic/lib -lsasl2 On 10/3/07, Jason <daelic@xxxxxxxxx> wrote: > On 10/2/07, Richard Megginson <rmeggins@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > > > > > Then use --with-sasl-lib=/path/to/built and --with-sasl-inc=/path/to/built > > > I even updated LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include > > > /root/ldap/cyrus-sasl-2.1.20/built/lib, but I'm still getting the same > > > compile error, saying there are undefined symbols. > > I was hoping I could say this worked, but alas...
