https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=871503 Petr Pisar <ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Status|NEW |CLOSED Resolution|--- |NOTABUG Last Closed| |2012-10-31 03:42:02 --- Comment #4 from Petr Pisar <ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx> --- `perl' executable is installed into /usr/bin/perl and thus only `/usr/bin/perl' is provided by perl package. So I cannot put fake /bin/perl into set of Provides. Despite I agree with you that the usr-move is half-baken, current practise is to install executables into original locations and to let yum to alias the prefixes. I cannot divert one package just for your pleasure. If you insist on your request, please submit an proposal for the change to Fedora Packaging Committee. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. -- Fedora Extras Perl SIG http://www.fedoraproject.org/wiki/Extras/SIGs/Perl perl-devel mailing list perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/perl-devel
