https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2338799 --- Comment #6 from Petr Pisar <ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx> --- (In reply to David Levner from comment #3) > I think Fedora would be improved by including a complete version of Perl by default Do you mean being installed by default, or being available in Fedora repositories for installing later? I believe the first is highly subjective. There are people who say quite the opposite, or who prefer a different language. When installing Fedora, you can select a "Development" package group which involves "perl" package which installs all relevant parts of upstream perl. If you really think Perl is for Fedora so important that it should be installed by default for all, then you can move this bug report to "comps" component which maintains groups of packages being installed by Fedora installer and persuade their maintainer that it would be a good change. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are on the CC list for the bug. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2338799 Report this comment as SPAM: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/enter_bug.cgi?product=Bugzilla&format=report-spam&short_desc=Report%20of%20Bug%202338799%23c6 -- _______________________________________________ perl-devel mailing list -- perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to perl-devel-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: https://docs.fedoraproject.org/en-US/project/code-of-conduct/ List Guidelines: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Mailing_list_guidelines List Archives: https://lists.fedoraproject.org/archives/list/perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Do not reply to spam, report it: https://pagure.io/fedora-infrastructure/new_issue
