https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2319340 Bug ID: 2319340 Summary: missing dependencies prevent cpanspec installation Product: Fedora EPEL Version: epel9 Status: NEW Component: cpanspec Assignee: mspacek@xxxxxxxxxx Reporter: dave.love@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: ktdreyer@xxxxxxxxxxxx, mspacek@xxxxxxxxxx, perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, steve@xxxxxxxxx Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora Description of problem: I realize the problems are deeper, but it may be helpful to record here that it's uninstallable since multiple Perl dependencies are missing or uninstallable in EL9. Initially I see - nothing provides perl(IO::String) >= 1.07 needed by perl-PPI-1.270-1.el9.noarch from epel but building and installing that just gets as far as - nothing provides perl(Module::Runtime) >= 0.012 needed by perl-Moo-2.005004-3.el9.noarch from epel - nothing provides perl(Import::Into) >= 1.002 needed by perl-Moo-2.005004-3.el9.noarch from epel - nothing provides perl(Class::Method::Modifiers) >= 1.10 needed by perl-Moo-2.005004-3.el9.noarch from epel - nothing provides perl(Devel::GlobalDestruction) >= 0.11 needed by perl-Moo-2.005004-3.el9.noarch from epel - nothing provides perl(Role::Tiny) >= 1.003003 needed by perl-Moo-2.005004-3.el9.noarch from epel I'll look at requesting the builds.
