https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2304273 Bug ID: 2304273 Summary: perl-Database-DumpTruck-1.2-31.fc41 FTBFS: Failed test 'Proper data was retrieved from the database' at t/dumptruck.t line 191 Product: Fedora Version: rawhide URL: https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/package/perl-Databas e-DumpTruck Status: NEW Component: perl-Database-DumpTruck Assignee: mspacek@xxxxxxxxxx Reporter: ppisar@xxxxxxxxxx QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx CC: jtfas90@xxxxxxxxx, lkundrak@xxxxx, mspacek@xxxxxxxxxx, perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Blocks: 2260875 (F41FTBFS) Target Milestone: --- Classification: Fedora perl-Database-DumpTruck-1.2-31.fc41 fails to build in Fedora 41 because a test fails: + ./Build test # Failed test 'Proper data was retrieved from the database' # at t/dumptruck.t line 191. # Structures begin differing at: # $got->[0]{random}{yes} = 1 # $expected->[0]{random}{yes} = '1' # Looks like you failed 1 test of 43. t/dumptruck.t .. Dubious, test returned 1 (wstat 256, 0x100) Failed 1/43 subtests A difference between passing and failing build roots is at <https://koschei.fedoraproject.org/build/18439094>. An upgrade of perl-JSON-MaybeXS from 1.004005-5.fc41 to 1.004007-1.fc41 looks suspicious: 1.004006 - 2024-08-02 - is_bool() now recognizes core booleans (perl 5.36+). Note that JSON::PP 4.11 and Cpanel::JSON::XS 4.38 are required to properly encode them. Also perl-Cpanel-JSON-XS disappeared from the build root. Maybe a packaging bug. New perl-JSON-MaybeXS-1.004008 does not help.
