Could be; I don't know what the convention is. (One could argue that an abrupt — in Perl community's tectonic definitions of "abrupt", of course — maintainer change can be suspicious in the light of module hijack attacks, and having such heads-up may be beneficial.)

If @spot wants it, I can make the change; I'm ambivalent as long as the modules build and do what they say on the tin.
