This package builds fine for all Fedoras in Fedora 37's mock.

I do not see any sense in your proposal, because 100 - if not 1000s of packages
- still use MD5s in their source files.

That said, if RHEL9's tooling is incompatible to Fedora's tooling, something in
RHEL9 should be changed.
