You need to remove (and possibly rebuild) everything below
/usr/local/lib64/perl5 and /usr/local/share/perl5.

Your choice, your poison. I would not want to this. It's only a matter of time
until similar issues will hit you again.

It only temporarily appears so, but it surely doesn't.
