            Bug ID: 1234691
Summary: Status remains NEW after someone TAKES a bug report
           Product: Fedora
           Version: 22
         Component: bugzilla
          Severity: medium
          Assignee: itamar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
          Reporter: gbcox@xxxxxx
        QA Contact: extras-qa@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
                CC: bazanluis20@xxxxxxxxx, emmanuel@xxxxxxxxx,
                    itamar@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
                    perl-devel@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Description of problem:
When someone TAKES a bug report the status field isn't updated. It remains in
NEW status.

Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

How reproducible:
See description.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. See description
2.
3.

Actual results:
Status remains NEW

Expected results:
Status changed to ASSIGNED

Additional info:
I always wondered why so many bug reports have a status of NEW. Now I know.
People TAKE the report and are assuming since they took it the status would be
automatically updated. Wrong assumption. Logically, you would think if you
accepted a bug report, it would be ASSIGNED.
