I've recently introduced xmvn-minimal package, which aims at reducing size and complexity of buildroot for building packages with Maven. xmvn-minimal is a minimized version of XMvn. It has Maven Wagon connectors removed which makes it unable to access any repositories besides system repository, not even file:// repositories. maven-local was switched to use xmvn-mininal instead of full xmvn.
