This is a known problem. It affects not only freemind, but many
other packages too.

A possible solution would be to split freemind package (or some
other packages) into more subpackages.
Wouldn't it then not be the easiest way to split up the package which probably causes this? Which is hawtjni in this case.
I don't know if it's possible to split up freemind in a sensible manner, since it's much more exposed to users.
