Thanks Alex! I ran xmllint and corrected the file. 

All the components are building properly. There's something wrong with
the javadoc generation though. It says:

There was a warning earlier: 

> [WARNING] File encoding has not been set, using platform encoding ANSI_X3.4-1968, i.e. build is platform dependent!

How would I set the encoding? What should it be set to?
