Even though I am an Eclipse user, I would still say definitely.

I think so. This may not be apparent to people outside of the Java
community, bit IntelliJ IDEA has an excellent reputation in those
circles. It's considered by many to be the best IDE available (although
this refers to the proprietary version). This is obviously subjective
and I can't comment from personal experience as I haven't used it
enough. Also, I've heard from many users that it has the best Scala
support.
