F27 Final validation testing requests

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi folks!

So I was looking through testcase_stats for F27 and I noticed several
tests that haven't been run for some time, which we will need to run
for Final. If folks could help out with running some of these, that'll
be great. The current validation candidate (20171020.n.0) is fine,
there should be a new one fairly soon too (maybe tomorrow).

The Cloud x86_64 tests haven't been checked off since Beta; I'm not
sure if there's really a need for those tests to be run manually given
that we have autocloud, but if someone could check that'd be great.

Several desktop tests haven't been run for x86_64 since Beta
candidates:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_login
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_audio_basic
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_panel_basic
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_automount
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_workstation_core_applications
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_menus
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_panel_advanced
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_desktop_keyring

It'd be a big help if folks could help run those tests on x86_64 on
both blocking desktops (GNOME and KDE).

For Installation, we're missing a few:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_install_to_firmware_RAID
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_install_to_hardware_RAID
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_install_to_FCoE_target
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Anaconda_User_Interface_Basic_Video_Driver
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_upgrade_gnome-software_current_workstation
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_upgrade_gnome-software_previous_workstation
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Arabic_Language_Install
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/QA:Testcase_Anaconda_help

Again, if folks could help with those it'd be great. (I will take care
of at least the hardware RAID one tomorrow). As usual, you can use
these links to find the 'current' result pages:

https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Installation_Test
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Desktop_Test
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Test_Results:Current_Cloud_Test

where you can find download links and manually enter results. You can
also use the 'relval' CLI tool to enter results a bit more easily if
you like, just 'dnf install relval' then 'relval report-results'.
Thanks, everyone!
