https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=876317 This is a small script from Amazon (http://aws.amazon.com/code/1825) which can pull information from the ec2 metadata service (including compatible ones like that provided by eucalyptus). The cloud-init package is really cool and does all sorts of great stuff, but it's also kind of big.
