IÂfinallyÂmanaged to create a AMI with EBS

the only problem is:

i created a few users, when i stop my instance and reboot it, my passwords dont work anymore

i compared with another snapshot and the hash on the /etc/shadow changes each time

What can i do to retain my passwords on each reboot?

thx!

If you install euca2ools from the Fedora or EPEL repositories you should
be able to do the entire process without having to mess with either Java
or Amazon's proprietary tools. ÂJust replace each command's leading
"ec2" with "euca" (e.g. "ec2-register" becomes "euca-register").
