Thanks for work on this! I think, once approved, you can add the astronomy-sig group as co-maintainer. Meanwhile, I've posted a comment on the review request about having both sep and python-sep packaged and providing python3-sep... once clarified how we would handle that collision, I will be happy to do the review.
