Hi Andreas,I've running Fedora release 42 (Rawhide) on my Rock 5B. Integrated Bluetooth is now working but i want work with one of my Bluetooth speaker. What did you do to make that work? What wireless/bt module do you have? At least my model doesn't have BT/WiFi at all, it was optional.
Bluetooth:
Device-1: Realtek
Bluetooth Radio driver: btusb type: USB
Report: btmgmt ID: hci1 state: up address:
2C:05:47:79:7C:2D bt-v: 5.2
is part of Radxa Wireless Module A8
Network:
Device-1: Realtek
RTL8852BE PCIe 802.11ax Wireless Network
driver: rtw89_8852be
When I want to connect the speaker I get error : Aug 28 16:21:38 rockpi5.reschke.lan bluetoothd[14638]: profiles/audio/avdtp.c:avdtp_connect_cb() connect to 04:21:44:0D:86:91: Permission denied (13) Another speaker is working fine without any issue. What's the difference between the two speakers? You need to fill in the whole problem as it makes it very hard to tell what the issue is with a fraction of the required information. Does the speaker work on other Linux systems?
Speaker one is working: Sneaky
speaker two not working: JBL Portable (speaker is working on other Fedora 40 System)
Hope this helps.
Any help with this topic ? PS: Deleting this device and reconnect didn't work, same failure.
