Re: What if Fedora stopped building for 32-bit ARM (armv7hl) in F36+?

I use fedora on my Odroid XU4 boards and it works quite nicely. If support were dropped then I guess its time to find another distro for these. However fedora never officially supported Odroid XU4 so not sure where it comes in the consideration.

All my ARM boards (basically WandBoard) are, as far as I know, 32-bit-only.
Losing 32-bit support would effectively mean I need to find a different
distribution for all my devices that I have deployed.

PS: If I am wrong and the wandboards can run Arm64, I am happy to be
corrected.

Hello Miro,

I did not use 32-bit ARM version since many years :)
Do we have an idea on how many people are downloading 32-bit and 64-bit
ARM images ?

it is about time I guess, especially if it is a pain to maintain :)

Hello, an interesting discussion is happening on the Fedora devel
mailing list about possibly dropping 32-bit ARM (armv7hl) support:

Before proceeding with the idea, I'd like to know what do the ARM people
on this list think about it.

Is it crazy, or is it about time?

Hello together,

I'm using a few odroid hc1 with fedora 32-bit arm.

But I think I've to replace them in the future. Processor is fast enough for me but 2GB RAM is the limit.
