Was this a Debian box by chance? Or perhaps the paths are hard-coded incorrectly in the sources? Then you will have to patch them in fpcsrc/compiler/systems/t_linux.pas before building the cross-compiler. The bootstrap binary contains multi-arch paths only: /usr/local/lib/fpc/ /usr/lib/fpc/ =/lib;=/usr/lib;=/usr/X11R6/lib =/usr/lib/aarch64-linux-gnu =/usr/lib On Fedora, there should be /usr/lib64 there. Not sure why the warning about the missing crti.o file isn't printed, though.
