Hi, I've got a few wandboards in production, but recently one of my boards starting having issues with the onboard sound card/port. I'm no longer getting any sound out of it (although my USB sound device works fine). The dmesg logs report: # dmesg | grep snd [ 11.207229] fsl-asoc-card sound: snd_soc_register_card failed (-517) [ 11.220649] imx-spdif sound-spdif: snd_soc_register_card failed: -517 [ 11.220667] fsl-asoc-card sound: snd_soc_register_card failed (-517) [ 11.292754] imx-spdif sound-spdif: snd_soc_register_card failed: -517 [ 11.339059] imx-spdif sound-spdif: snd_soc_register_card failed: -517 [ 11.357732] imx-spdif sound-spdif: snd_soc_register_card failed: -517 [ 11.384978] imx-spdif sound-spdif: snd-soc-dummy-dai <-> 2004000.spdif mapping ok I just updated to current FC22, now running 4.4.4-200.fc22.armv7hl (from 4.1.6), and after rebooting the system I get the same dmesg results. I tried power-cycling and I still got the same results. For the record, my wandboard single, also running FC22 (but running kernel 4.1.7) does not appear to be having this same issue. Strangely, the system in question had been working a while ago, but I only noticed the issue recently. A quick google talks about the clock not being started or a race condition of some sort? Anyone have any ideas? -derek -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/ PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH warlord@xxxxxxx PGP key available _______________________________________________ arm mailing list arm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx http://lists.fedoraproject.org/admin/lists/arm@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
