Hello Fedora ARM,
I have been working
on a Linux-Apps-on-iPhone-&-iPad solution, called QMole, for
the last two years.
QMole's intention is twofold: 1) enable graphical Linux applications on the IOS platform and 2) enable on-iPad development without the need for an Apple developer account. Given the massive user base of the IOS platform, this is a potentially big step for the Linux platform as a whole. This comes against a backdrop of every greater encroachment on user choice and freedom. Now a user who has root access to the hardware they legitimately purchased is deemed to "jailbreak" suggesting somehow that this is not legitimate. Yet all the user has done is what would be a matter of course with any other, non smartphone, computer platform. Linux fought this battle before in a different dimension: with Windows. People have taken this victory for granted. Like elsewhere, freedoms not watched over, erode. I want to reverse this trend before it is too late --- as the smartphone takes over from PC. That is why I created QMole. I am hoping to unleash a tide of Linux users and more importantly developers to descend on the dominant smartphone platform. Please support and donate to our Kickstarter campaign at : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/chriskohlhepp/qmole-a-linux-desktop-system-for-the-ipad You are in a unique position to gives this project visibility if you agree with its goal and spirit. Your help would be much appreciated. Best Regards Chris Kohlhepp P.S.
