AFAIK Pidora was an ARMv6 rebuild, because Fedora builds for ARMv7
(maybe not even that at the time Pidora was built).

Yes you are quite correct, I think I just got nostalgic there. I think
Fedora's
foresight on armv7 support leaving armv6 behind was wise  & is paying
off now.
