I tried following your wiki briefly - I'm out of time for this
morning.
I got much further, but I appear to have an older version of the
kernel than what you quoted.
Mine is vmlinuz-3.11.0-0.rc6.git4.1.fc20.armv7hl while you have
vmlinuz-3.11.0-3.fc20.armv7hl.
Below is what happened. Everything was fine, but no output from
the kernel. I'll do more digging tonight.
