It appears g77 is provided by compat-gcc-34-g77. This version of gcc predates Fedora's hard float ABI transition on ARM. The transition started in Fedora 15 with gcc 4.6, so that is the earliest gcc revision that is likely to be supportable, in a compat package or otherwise.
