I'm having the same issue along with the build was looking for armv6 repo in the build requires even though the armv5 versions were installed. I just symlinked /usr/lib/rpm/platform/armv6l-linux to /usr/lib/rpm/platform/armv5tel-linux It isn't the "proper" fix, but it will give you the correct flags.
