Of course :-)

However I'm running it on the F15 that I have installed on the Trim
Slice currently, so perhaps there is something missing in that kernel.
Without any gdb/strace/etc in the rootfs it's a bit hard to tell ...

I'll try rpm directly, that's a good idea.
