Just in case someone needs it...

download and unpack the sheeva installer from http://www.plugcomputer.org/index.php/us/resources/downloads?func=select&id=5

copy the installer files <folder in the download....6 files> to a usb drive formatted with fat32 and plug it into the sheeva plug.

compile and install libftdi http://www.intra2net.com/en/developer/libftdi/download.php

plug in the sheeva plug to your centos machine (i686..didn't try x64)

>>note: i tried the prepacked php script which just spit the script to stdout....didn't work for me....

cd to the uboot directory

run the following

openocd/openocd -f openocd/config/board/sheevaplug.cfg -s openocd/config/ -c init -c sheevaplug_reflash_uboot

tada....unbricked!!!

Just thought i would share a little tidbit that should work on fedora as well since i had such a hard time getting it working!
