I agree on all fronts - including that we should fix issues. However, I
am a /strong/ believer that Koji builders *MUST* be separate at this
stage. I am willing to accept extremely strong arguments otherwise, but
they'd have to be of the Andrew Wiles variety.

Hardware doesn't appear to be an issue at the moment, and we know of
some greater capability coming to help with v7 building soon (more on
that from Chris and myself later), but I would rather end up having to
ask our guys to fund a few builder boards than try to get v5/v7 joint at
this stage. We'll get there, but not just yet.
