Here i will answer my own question. Apparently the MeeGo project is working with compulabs makers of the tegra2 based trimslice. And they have an accelerated hardfp version of the tegra X video driver. While not opensource, I suppose with some careful talking it would be possible to at least have the accelerated X driver that will work on the Vega.
