The two main outstanding issues on this is glibc [1] and perl [2] and I would love some help on both of those issues. I don't think the glibc needs to hold up the running of build-previous, I'm not sure about perl as I'm not sure if its like python and is version dependent. I'm also looking to get a alpha minimal install out there this week for people to start playing with while we start to get the rest of the core stuff built.
