This kind of decision can not be taken by a single person. Getting approval from the ticket reporter to close a ticket can lead to tickets being open forever that are not actively being worked. It is up to the group to determine when a ticket is closed, and sometimes that means the reporter does not agree with that resolution. A ticket can always be reopened if it was closed prematurely or new information causes it to be relevant again. > Closing such ticket means ending the discussion prematurely as nobody will keep track of it anymore. That is correct, and in some cases that is the desired result. josh _______________________________________________ council-discuss mailing list -- council-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe send an email to council-discuss-leave@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
