#39: Required approval for Fedora Globalization FAD at Tokyo, Japan 2015 ---------------------+--------------------- Reporter: pravins | Owner: Status: new | Priority: normal Component: General | Resolution: Keywords: | ---------------------+--------------------- Comment (by mattdm): Yeah, as per https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_organize_a_FAD#Approval, the formal approval comes from the Council at large and does not need to wait for me. The open question is the greater-than-5k budget. I do think this is overall high-value for Fedora, since it brings some cohesiveness to a previously-tangled part of of the project. I don't think there are competing FAD requests for the budget, so I'm +1, but would like to hear the rest of you weigh in on the extra expenditure. I'd be particularly concerned if this leaves us with, for example, a shortfall in reaching our university outreach objective. -- Ticket URL: <https://fedorahosted.org/council/ticket/39#comment:9> council <https://fedorahosted.org/council> Fedora Council Public Tickets _______________________________________________ council-discuss mailing list council-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Fedora Code of Conduct: http://fedoraproject.org/code-of-conduct https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/council-discuss The Fedora Project's mission is to lead the advancement of free and open source software and content as a collaborative community.
