Vote is unanimously in favor. <https://fedorahosted.org/board/ticket/13>

We'll work on a formal announcement to go to the general announce list, but
I didn't want to wait to start talking. :)

Of course, there are plenty of details to figure out as we go forward.
Immediate next steps are:

1. Starting the election process for the two elected repesentatives. I don't
want this to drag on, but I think we should have a week from announcement
to nominations, and then a week of open nominations, and then a week for
"campaigning" — blog posts, town halls, and interviews. I'd like people
to have time to think about what they'd do with the role — goals that the
community can judge their success on — and how they want to communicate
   that.

2. FESCo and FAmSCo to select outreach and engineering represenatives. I'll
file the respective tickets shortly after hitting send here. :)

The new governance structure goes into effect once these four are seated.
Hopefully we will have the other new roles (diversity advisor and
community action and impact) into place by then as well. In the meantime,
lots of wiki cleanup. (And asking the Infrastructure Team to rename a bunch
of stuff!)

Also in the meantime, we should start the conversation about the goals for
the first outcome-based seats. Those will be decided by the newly-seated
Council, but we can have a lot of input ready by then. That'll be a separate
thread or threads, though. :)

And, longer term (like say at Flock 2015 and surrounding), there are some
specific aspects that I think we want to review. One practical one is the
order of roles on the charter page; right now, the objective-based seats are
at the top, which makes sense to me because they are shiny and new, but in
the future it probably makes more sense to put them at the bottom so the
full and auxiliary seats are together. We should also review the +3-to-pass
threshold, and whether the lazy consensus model is working as planned: used
too often or too little? right timeframe chosen for decisions? and so on.

Anyway — thanks everyone for working on and thinking so much about this.
Exciting times ahead!
