These aren't gotcha questions and characterizing them as such is offensive. These are real concerns and you should treat them with care. A proposal needs to be sold on its merits. If the answer amounts to we have convinced ourselves within a small team from offline conversations that the rest of the contributors are not involved in and you just have to trust us, then it is less likely to yield the results you expect it to have.
