That's not what Christoph was talking about either. Go back and read his email. He just made some points that it's pretty natural when a team involves a bunch of people from one employer, they will wind up communicating in non-public ways, and I think that's fairly true. It's not as if they're being malicious, it just...happens. It's hard to force yourself to write an email to a public list for everything if you know everyone else who's actively involved is within yelling distance. I know I have to stop myself doing it all the time, when I'm in an environment that makes it possible. Or, to quote Christoph exactly: "... because they work for Red Hat. Note that I'm not saying they are evil people, it's just in the nature of things they operate behind closed doors. It is so much easier to quickly go from one cube to the next to make a decision than having to bother with a committee, a mailing list or the many voices of the community." -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Fedora Talk: adamwill AT fedoraproject DOT org http://www.happyassassin.net _______________________________________________ advisory-board mailing list advisory-board@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/advisory-board
