I think that if we do a FAD (which I think is a fine idea - let's bring it to NYC so I don't have to travel :D), we should do it with the understanding that we will NOT be making decisions there, but rather coming up with a concrete proposal for more broad discussions so that the people that can't make don't feel disenfranchised. Note that this same philosophy also applies if we do a phone call. I really don't think that IRC would work for this - while it's a fine method for collaborating on "X widget is broken", it really doesn't lend itself to high-level discussions like these, and even phone is better, but not ideal. We should have a whiteboard and completely open discussion, IMHO. >> IMO opinion with an issue this important face to face might be better, >> but IRC would be a good place to start. As I said above, I think face to face is the most appropriate method of dealing with this. > Sure, I think a joint session may be of help... or a working session > where we work on each part instead of just hope folks have time to do > so during the week. +1 :) _______________________________________________ advisory-board mailing list advisory-board@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/advisory-board
