The bases if your argument for [1]:
I'm sorry but no one with any experience in statistics would take that
seriously.  FWIW, I'm dicktat from the half-elected Board.  If you want to
reference a scientific survey of our users that actually meets the tests
one should use (perhaps we could pay someone?) that's fine.  Referencing
[1] though...  Does not use methodology even close to what it would take
for us to say "majority of our users".  That's not to say the results
wouldn't come out the same, they might but we can't tell at the moment.

+1 Been trying to get people to see this for months. But it seems their surveys are not at all scientifically based. More like complete guesswork.
