I'm not sure those guidelines lend themselves to particular use cases; the only one that would seem to apply would be the one about 'latest stable software', which would imply we move *too* fast right now in some cases. (And the lack of tying "latest stable" to a release means more fuel for the fewer updates/more updates debate.)
