seems to have just been dropped from the list rather than updated.
I'd be interested in knowing if it least the mkinitrd patches are going to
make it in, so that I can set up an encrypted root file system manually
without having to use a custom mkinitrd.

I don't recall ever seeing it on the list. When was it dropped?
