The kvm rpm does not load the necessary kernel modules at install time.
You would need to modprobe kvm-intel or kvm-amd depending on your cpu,
restart libvirtd, and then everything should work.

The need to restart libvirtd is a known bug here, but the loading of
modules (or system reboot) is unavoidable.
