Hi all, I'm going to update cargo-c to the latest version (0.10.11) in Fedora, EPEL 10, and EPEL 9-Next very soon. This version of cargo-c will be required for compiling any Rust crates that rely on the Rust 2024 Edition, which is supported in Rust 1.85+ (already stable in Fedora 40+, and pending for c10s and c9s). I will not push this update to EPEL 10.0 (Rust 1.84), and not yet to EPEL 9 (I wouldn't even be able to - the Rust compiler in RHEL 9 is too old). The EPEL 9-Next changes will only be merged into EPEL 9 when the current RHEL 9 minor release starts shipping Rust 1.85 or newer. Despite being a semver-major version bump (0.9 → 0.10), the only "breaking changes" in the release notes are minor behaviour changes (affecting debian and MSVC) - none of which should have an effect on Fedora or EPEL, so I would consider this a compatible update.
