Hi all, EPEL 9 currently carries Zeek 4.2.0; per https://github.com/zeek/zeek/wiki/Release-Cadence this is actually long out of support - x.0.z releases are LTS supported for a year, x.y.z (y >= 0) releases are feature releases supported only for four months. Unfortunately the package was unmaintained for quite some time - and sorting out the changes that happened after two major releases took some time. I'd therefore like to upgrade Zeek to 6.0.1 (the latest LTS release); to reduce churn we'll probably only track the LTS releases. Nothing currently requires zeek that needs to be rebuilt: michel in zeek on release/6.0 via △ ⬢ [fedora:40] ❯ fedrq whatrequires --src zeek-core -b epel9 michel in zeek on release/6.0 via △ took 7s ⬢ [fedora:40] ❯ fedrq whatrequires --src zeek-devel -b epel9 Best regards, -- _o) Michel Lind _( ) identities: https://keyoxide.org/5dce2e7e9c3b1cffd335c1d78b229d2f7ccc04f2
